  • Draft, coordinate, and maintain engagement letters, client waivers, consents, and Ethical Walls/Information Barriers documentation.
  • Maintain and update conflicts databases and ensure accurate data integrity and record keeping.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to align conflict checking with broader AML, KYC, and regulatory obligations.
  • Respond to attorney and staff requests relating to conflicts research and compliance queries.
  • Assist with ad hoc research requests, special projects, proofreading, filing, and general departmental administration.
  • Support new matter intake processes for existing clients, no-party matters, contractor checks, and non-portable lateral matters.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of conflicts research experience within a legal, compliance, governance, or professional services environment preferred.
  • Alternatively, at least 1 year of legal risk management, compliance, or research/database experience in a comparable role.
  • Understanding of conflicts of interest, legal ethics, KYC/CDD, AML, sanctions screening, and regulatory compliance principles advantageous.
  • Experience with Elite database systems or comparable legal/conflicts databases advantageous.
  • Exposure to international law firm environments or professional services organisations beneficial.
